Six new Haas machining centers (5 VF 2 SS and 2 DT-1) have arrived. We now have 14 additions to the CNC manufacturing workshop this year alone, as more along the way.
Three machines are dedicated to high speed milling and the other two are used for drilling and tapping. These further complement the addition of Haas automatic bar feeders that improve our ability to keep parts on the lathe without interruption.
These machines represent an increase of about 25% in our rapid prototyping and low volume CNC manufacturing capacity, but that’s not all. One of the new vertical milling cutters will now be used full-time for R & D projects as well as continuous training for current and new personnel.
